Night Watch The Film

You may just find yourself seeking out a good film. I for one do this on a regular basis of at least once a week. You know the routine! The weekend hits and all you really want to do is kick back and relax. Naturally part of lounging about involves some sort of entertainment. Well, let me be the first to say that there's nothing like a good mystery/thriller. One recommendation that I will make is a sleeper hit entitled "Night Watch." This flick is surely one to make you cringe and keep you guessing. Just be sure you turn off all the lights before settling in.
The 1997 flick, Night Watch, is actually a remake of a fairly recent foreign film. The American remake stars Ewan Mcgregor, Patricia Arquette and Nick Nolte. While Ewan's character grapples with college life, he seeks out the most ideal job position to earn some extra cash. What's better than working as a security job in the local morgue? You get to stay up all night in a peaceful setting and take care of your homework all at the same times. Not to mention you get paid in the process. However, being the Night Watch security guard is not as simple as it seems. Especially when a deranged lunatic is lurking about in search of corpses to defile. At this point Ewan's character is thinking, "what could possibly be worse?" Well how about being blamed for the unknown psychopath's vicious crimes? Yeah, that's definitely worse. Suddenly the protagonist, Ewan's character, finds himself in a whole mess of troubles. But can he catch or identify the true villain before he ends up on a cold slab himself?
Night Watch is loaded with mystery and intensity. This is certainly one of those frightening sleeper hits that you never really hear about, but should. Surely it's available in your local video store. Try the mystery/suspense section. And if you're a Netflix nut, I'm certain you'll find Night Watch on the web. After all, this is basically the simplest route to quality entertainment now days. Have it delivered to your mailbox. So the next time you're in the mood for a good puzzle, check out Night Watch. And just so you know, the foreign originally is virtually identical to the remake.
